Who or what is the "Henna Medium" you ask? 

 

Well let me describe her in ways that we can both comprehend. She's the type of magic that you can't see physically but you can feel. She is a walking portal that can access realms of understanding we haven't learned yet. I first met her at Coachella (I know, I know, just read to the end please) where she had this invisible magnetic pull. Seeing her create sacred geometry hennas from inspiration beyond what our Human minds can percieve was wild. 

 

But what really caught my attention was her "intuitive services". So I saved her info, and months later got into some trouble with the law. Called her not too long after that and she said, "The Judge will need to be impressed, so wear a suit and all black socks at your arraignment." 

 

As soon as that Judge saw me he was definitely impressed. And I might add: I was the only one he smiled to all morning. By now you're probably thinking alright that sounds like a no brainer statement? But wait for this next part. 

 

The NEXT time I called her she said, "This will probably take two years." 

 

Guess what? Its been almost two years for my case. 

 

Now the final act that made me a true believer of her special gifts.

 

I have been writing a novel and one chapter is about my barber who passed 8 years ago. I loved that man like a grandfather figure and not once did I tell her about his appearence. On THAT phone call, hours after finishing that chapter in his memory, she revealed that he was standing next to me, nodding his head in approval. The Henna Medium described him perfectly, and in that moment I cried (practically tearing up now) tears of joy. Because the sad fact is, I never got to tell him how much he meant to me growing up. She was that bridge to quell my regret.
